The little "summary" thing in the Dallas Morning News (on the back page of one section, printed sideways, that does a quick overview of the day's news) still has only Troy, Steve and Greg pictured as the 'weather guys' of WFAA. With all the hoopla and anointment of this guy by Ch 8, you'd think the first thing they'd do is to make sure Pete's crammed down our throats relentlessly with every marketing tool the station has. Looks like things tapered off pretty quickly. Wonder if somebody's having second thoughts over there, since they can now get reports on how he "tests" on the air.

He'll get moved to the "eventual" local cable news channel Time Warner will setup on belo property(Adios, TXCN) when they move into town.

Interesting thoughts on an interesting situation. Posssible that some "next day" consideration as to bringing him on board is taking place. Or could it be that promotions at Channel 8 are in as much disarray as everything else in the station seems to be and they just haven't "got around to" structuring a new wx promo series including Delkus. But, as was said, it looks as if with all the hoopla surrounding his arrival there would be some follow-up promotion to round out the package. Everyone go figure.

Not to mention his 10pm package was shot to hell because no one queued it up correctly.

WFAA is now airing promos with Delkus fairly frequently.
