Delta III pinouts

My cart machine has Jones sockets on it's back, while the tech manual shows d-sub ones. Can I assume that they have the same configuration (pin 1 acts on the jones plug the same as pin 1 with the d-sub one, and so on)?

And request... Does anyone have Jones 15 plugs willing to be used? ;D

I wouldn't "assume" anything on the wiring - chances are there is voltage on the smae connector for the remote start/stop/lamps.

I've never wired the Delta's so I can't help you on the pinouts.

Most cart machines, and remote start audio gear in general, uses a separate connection system for remote control. The audio connectors for most cart machines are standard, 6 pin jones plug connectors. IIRC pins 1 and 4 are ground, pins 2 and 5 are Audio - and pins 3 and 6 are audio +.

I should have read the original post when I was more awake - I read it backwards. I thought the book showed the Jones and the machine had the "D".

I was at a station that had many, many many Harris C90 machines. 1 = gnd, 3 & 5 were audio.

Too many hours the past 2 weeks inside of a transmitter chasing problems. :)
