DEMI LOVATO + CUMULUS = 0 plays

Now granted, her songs don't always chart way up there but, she's nice n light...which is what cumulus goes for! But, both "Skyscrapers" and her latest hit, "Give Your Heart A Break" never once get played, here on Q100/Atlanta.

Kinda sad living in Atlanta and when I was talking to my 14 year old, niece (who is the PERFECT fan of POP/CHR hits) and I asked her if she liked Demi Lovato she said, "WHO?!?" Then, I sang to her, "Give Your Heaaarrt A Breaaak!!....Give Your Heaaaarrt A Breaaak!!" She was completely OBLIVIOUS! ???

Any thoughts?

It's a dumb song - good for Cumulus
But they claim to play "all the hits", and it's doing moderately well on the charts, compared to the Matchbox 20 song they jumped all over...

Just because a track is "dumb" is no reason to not play it, if it's doing well. That's more of a personal opinion. I don't like it either, but there's no reason not to play it, at least lightly.

it has been playing for several weeks on WHHY Montgomery in very light rotation often before or after the 50 break, but that station usually doesn't add songs until months after it's been played to death on open house party.

Cumulus added it 2-3 weeks ago (all the stations added it the same week)

they may add it at the same time, but many are pushing it way down on the C or D block
