Got there early enough to hear a couple of guys explaining why it was happening, saying it was a one-time-only thing to give (maybe not exact quote) "a window on the future of broadcasting." They made some good points about the need for radio to stay localized but I had other things going so couldn't pay enough attention to tie that in with what Denise would bring. She had some pretty gawky inflections and the occasional obviously-mechanical sound ... but for as little as today's radio listener has been taught to expect, I can see some really on-the-cheap operator going with it, especially if some broadcast-background person with computer savvy can smooth it up a bit.
