On WEDNESDAY (6/8), FISHER RADIO Hot AC KPLZ (STAR 101.5)/SEATTLE morning show hosts KENT & ALAN conducted their "16TH ANNUAL LOCAL TV NEWSCASTER YOU'D LIKE TO SEE NAKED POLL."

STAR 101.5 listeners voted KOMO-TV newcomer DENISE WHITAKER first place in the women's category, followed by KING-TV's JEAN ENERSON, and REBECCA STEVENSON. KIRO-TV's GULSTAN DART took home the gold in the men's category, followed by KING-TV's DENNIS BOUNDS and KIRO-TV's GAARD SWANSON.



Looks like our former KARK TV anchor is making some waves in the great Northwest
 
Talking about TV for a moment, does anybody know if KTHV is building a new set? I noticed that they are using a plain table with 4 chairs. I would think that with Gannett and their deep pockets, this is surely a temporary situation. I figure that they are working on something rather fancy in conjunction with their 50th anniversary.
Anybody out there know anything?
 
Oh Lordy...as long as they don't go retro and bring back that orange and gold set that they hung on to until Gannett bought them. Remember, how dated everything was until Gannett came along? Gannett came in and it seemed like over night they updated everything. Of course, they kept Anne and brought Andy back from TN.

I guess that's been a number of years ago so it could definitely be time for a set change. Of course, the 50 year anniversary would be great timing on their part.

The whole set just looks dark to me. I don't know much about TV but THV news is hard to watch for me as it just has a lack luster look to it.
