DENNIS JACKSON IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Just got the horrifying word that 4-station northern New England owner Dennis Jackson was in a motorcycle accident in Utah yesterday while riding with his son (who was not hurt). Dennis has been airlifted to a hospital in Flagstaff Arizona (don't know which one), where doctors were having a hard time controlling internal bleeding. He has a long way to go in recovering, as we all hope recovering is the direction things are going. - For those of you who don't know Dennis, he's one of the extreme good guys in the radio biz. - For those of you who do know him, any calls right now would get in the way at this time. Family is/are all in AZ presently. This is so sad. Let's all pull for him in his recovery. ---Bob Bittner

Dennis arrived at the hospital not conscious. But the latest, as of 7 PM Saturday, Dennis' condition has slightly improved, but still in quite critical condition. Inappropriate right now to send anything or phone Dennis' family. Hold that off to later. Will keep you posted on this board. ---Bob Bittner

Thank you Bob... Please keep us informed.

Dennis continues to recover strongly. He has a page on caringbridges.org where you can check his progress and leave a message if you want. On the caringbridges.org home page, click on "visit a caring bridge site" and then enter "dennisjackson."
