So who's gonna be the next head KOMO-sapien? t.j.? Dialtwisty? Bongwater? Any takers?
 
Unfortunately Fisher drug tests their prospective employees so I'm afraid BW's out of the running - it would be an awfully long commute from Mt. Vernon anyway.
 
If this is true I, for one, am sad to see him go. Dennis is smart, a good communicator and a "good" person to boot. Best of luck DK!
 
Every once in a while, people in this business have the opportunity to do what they want and make their own way. Word is that DK has made a choice that will take him to new places and people while remaining connected to Fisher. Good luck, Dennis! And nice job getting KOMO to the top of the pile!

REALLY? Is ANY of this TRUE? I see it as a MASSIVE bullet in the foot for Fisher if they did. Dennis Kelly MADE KOMO radio what it is. And he (if anybody) was the BEST guy they could have EVER had.... KVI as far as I was concerned was a hopeless case...but KOMO Radio....

KUDOS Dennis.....That man, to his credit, has made me, a skeptical listener of your typical Seattle all-news radio station into a SERIOUS BELIEVER. And as far as I am personally concerned, a DANGEROUS competitor with the station that hires him next, compared to all others......

His resume is awesome, his experience IMMENSE. And WOE to any station that messes with it......

P.S. Trust me, compared next to some of what I hear already on the radio, if any broadcaster had a clue, they'd hire me in a heartbeat still. I mean, if you can fire Dennis Kelly - How LOW can you go? I mean, it's NOT like we're dealing with PROFESSIONALS anymore.......

safe to say his staff is happy he's gone and thae fact that he had a no contact order from the sales dept and the from suits says it all. he totalled kvi and got lucky with komo (and the m's). great guy, sure. great pd?he got out while the getting out was g

All Access reports that Dennis is going to re-launch his consultancy, News Talk Concepts, and that the Fisher stations are his first client.
