Dennis Miller is coming to Louisville

I cant believe im even going to say this...but I gotta give CC credit for even trying. WGTK is on the right path (no pun intended).

Wow, I cant believe I event said that, I dont know much about him (I never had any beef with him, but he has hurt some very good friends - and they are very good people K and J), but atleast he is doing good things for 970.

Obviously you dont know enough people in this biz. CC = CC Matthews, everyone in Louisville knows him.

Is this the same Dennis Miller that was bounced from Monday Night Football because he sucked? I don't think Rush has anything to worry about. This won't last long.
 
For what it's worth...we have Dennis Miller here in Indianapolis and I have found he is entertaining. Not a lot of what made him famous on SNL and MNF, but very interesting show.

Well, I know who K & J are. While I don't know them personally (I did work in the same building) I do know that CC like all PD's had orders to follow and a job to do. And while I don't agree with every decision he has made or will make... both K & J have been in this business long enough to know that jocks & PD's are like a revolving door. That line of work is never stable especially when a new PD is brought in.

J = Jason davis
K = Karen (I can't remember her last name) Peck maybe?

Both great and talented people and both let go by C.C. Karen (I think) was let go twice by CC. But face it, it's a business and tough decisions had and have to be made. At the time I think Jason just had a kid so it was really at a tough time & I heard CC was a bit of an uncaring ass when he broke the news.
 
Jason last i saw is in florida and karen programmed an awesome station in the ville she 93.1. Her last name was rite not sure of the spelling. I have heard clear channel let cc matthews do whatever he wanted to do with she 93.1 is that true? I heard he did not like karen.

Karen Rite programmed SHE 931 in Louisville... she's in South Bend now programming U93...
 
Y'all got it WRONG!!! It was all about money, that's why a live staff 6a-12mid Monday-Friday was let go.
Both Karen & Jason left SHE 93-1 when the others did. Also SHE 93-1 left 93-1 due to Clear Channels'
future plans for the cluster. Both Karen & Jason are better off today. So don't put the entire blame on
an Ops Manager who you guys hate.

I have to agree. I've been listening from 1-3 after The Herd on Espn Radio 93.9.
