Dennis Miller will be heard in L.A.

LARadio and other sources have comfirmed that Dennis Miller's new show will be heard on KRLA starting next Monday. The show will be heard here on a delay from 6-9pm bumping The Savage Nation to 9-Midnight......for now. That's brokered time Savage is replacing, and if Miller does well out of the gate, and Savage doesn't fare so well in his new slot, they may want it back.

11 hours delayed. That will be a "topical" broadcast. Does anyone really care about Dennis Miller? Everything he does has bombed. I question why Fox News even employs him. He adds nothing to any of their shows.

Just thank goodness KABC didn't take the show. KRLA is a joke of a talk station since it doesn't even have a local-only weekday show.
The only thing worth listening to on KRLA is The Terry Anderson Show Sunday nights at 9 PM. And that's brokered programming.

I have to agree with mostb1 on this one...

I do not think anyone cares about Dennis Miller, and EVERYTHING he touches bombs. This show will too, it is just a matter of how and when it will implode. I would be very surprised if Dennis Miller is still doing this show 12-18 months from now.

On the bright side, he will never be on Monday Night Football again.

I listened to his first show today. I was actually impressed but I had low expectations. The Dana Carvey phone-in was very funny. And he does know enough about the talkradio news issues of today. Miller actually translates to radio much better than I thought. But this show is placed in the wrong time period. It might actually work as a morning show if he added some more regular players. Overall, I'd say a mildly entertaining show. Surprising.

Too bad his show won't sound like the one he had in the movie Joe Dirt!
