Nice to have Dennis Miller on from 7:pm to 10:00. As with KOY, I guess I'm the only one who can pick this station up during these hours but I'm happy. Good show.

You mean WHEN the new format airs. Through all that static, I can still hear KOY playing their normal format of "America's Best Music." The Mamas and the Papas are on now with "California Dreamin'", which was preceded by Frank Sinatra and the Beatles with "Fool on the Hill." Good songs actually, but it's definitely not smooth jazz!
 
Gee, I seem to remember someone taking the hapless KKNT to task when they put Miller in low power Siberia and brought in the nasal screamer Mark Levin. And they predicted failure, and so it was said, and so it occurred.

Who would that poster be?

KKNT is a lost cause, 90 day old news casts, station ID's cut off of their last 5 seconds, constant playing of two things at once. It should be taken out and shot.

Nurse Jeff re-read the CC release on KayOhWhy going Smooth Jazz at night. While the article used the effective date of 1/16, they cleverly didn't mention the year. Who knows...maybe will be groovin' to Dave Koz next year..or the year after that..or after that..etc!

Is he contractually obligated to call everyone a "cat" like he's Sammy Davis, Jr.? I have never heard him use the word "cat" in reference to the 9-lives kind.

He calls 'em "baby" a lot too, and familiarizes their names with goofy nicknames, even if they're non-show biz guests. His metaphors are ridiculous and his gigglefests with his producer are childish. He's a pompous ass. And yes, I know KOY is still playing the Mamas and Papas and Barry Manilow. It's ALL still better than Glenn Beck and Dave the money guy.
 
Miller and his unnamed sidekick snicker and giggle at stuff I can not hear well because he mutters on the air. It is like a couple of frat boys just smoked a joint in the dorm room and are laughing a nonsense. But to each his own, I'm glad someone likes him.
 
The "unnamed sidekick" is named Chris, I believe, he's the producer, if I'm not mistaken.
