Denny Schaffer starts Monday October 10 at 8 a.m.

Tom Hughes loses his 8 a.m. hour again. Denny Schaffer from Toledo told me yesterday he is assigned to 8 a.m. to noon starting Monday October 10 on WGST-AM.

Why not Pete Davis?

Just listening to Pete this week really makes me scratch my head why GST doesn't just give him that slot. Why do they need to fill it with somebody who might be more polished? Pete is entertaining. Period. I always listen to him when he fills in for the Kimmer (and usually skip the show when Kim's on).

They love Tom over there. He's Atlanta's "best kept secret."

I will give him a try

I will give Denny Schaffer a listen when Boortz is in a slow moment. But, I just don't think anyone can compete with Neal on his own turf. Unless, something completely different is offered such as a Howard Stern style talk show.
