Denny Schaffer . . .

Well . . . Looks like Denny has a new show on WGKA weekdays nine to eleven. Sounds like he is doing some sort of daily commentary too.

I am assuming AM not PM? Interesting their first daily local show besides the 4:00 - 6:00 am show they did? I always had a problem on what I liked better, KrokTalk or DennyRadio. Kind of like choosing between your kids or Jordan or Kate.

Sorry, PM. I know what you mean about the kid choice thing, I think I will listen to the first five minutes just for kicks and then go play with The Princess . . .

We won't be able to hear him in East Cobb, either, but more importantly, his "sound bites" in the morning seem to have replaced Joel Aaron's...can anyone tell me what's happened to Joel, who would actually say something thoughtful???

I haven't listened yet but am exicited to. Always enjoyed Denny-don't agree with him all of the time, but enjoy the commentary. Good luck to him.

Always good to have more local choices. I was listening Monday night (by accident... had no clue he was beginning a new show) and a caller welcomed him back and Denny seemed to think the guy thought he was Krok. Funny.

I hope he comes off interesting. 9pm doesn't need loud or drama, we have Savage for that. I heard his internet show a couple of times and it always felt like a polished demo tape with staged phone calls and adoring fans. It's taken a long time to land something. Maybe he's still finding his niche. Let's see if it helps. Being all network driven with no costs involved, and being that late, what have their got to loose.

I heard that. Instead of just saying thank you for being a loyal listener and the welcome back, he has to bring up The Krok! Millman, was that you? Such a joker . . .

With all the changes going on in radio and cut backs on local talent one has to admire Denny for continuing to persue his love of radio. If it were me, I would have made a career change.

Wasn't me. I suspect they will put wrong numbers, pizza orders and prank calls on the air.

Do you realize that more people have now commented on this than Denny has listeners?
