Denny Shaffer is back in Toledo

Well, sort of.

Denny is doing his show from 10 AM to 12 Noon on http://www.wcwa.com/main.html
from his home in Atlanta, Georgia. He has been on the air in Toledo for the last couple of months now. He is actively seeks other radio affiliates for for his
Denny Radio network but so far he hasn't had much luck. Denny's website is
http://www.dennyradio.com.

Denny is best known in Toledo for his morning show on WKYS-FM 92.3 from
1993 to 2003. He later moved over to WSPD-AM 1370. He then moved to Alanta's WGST-AM but they changed formats and laid off the entire air staff so Denny
started Denny Radio on the internet last year and streamed his show over the
internet only until WCWA-AM 1230 picked up the show.

I was a fan of his show when I lived in Toledo in the 90s.

I live in Toledo, Born and raised. I do very much remember his show. I remember he had this obession with the song "Never met a girl like you before" by Edwin Collins. Remember the Billboards "Mornings are the Pitts" and of Course "Pastor Pants" Priceless... . He was on WVKS 92.5fm.

Odd hes going to be on a Sports station but its not like 1230 gets ratings anyway.

Yeah, I remember Denny. I used to listen to him back in the 90's...when (get this) I would get ready for school. I would even go so far at times to roll tape on him when I wasn't there just so I could catch what he was going to do next!

Scary, huh?
