Denon md parts

Since I read someone was/is searching Sl1300 parts, maybe I can take my change with Denon parts?
I am searching for the Servo board of the Denon DN-990R (part 3U-2703-1) this one is defectand is obsolete since Denon stoped the production of the DN 9xx series MD player/recorders.
This one is from the recorder version, but also a player Servo Unit will do the job (needs some additional parts).
Anyone?

Regards,

Martijn

Perhaps a little on the expensive side, but won't Denon repair your unit? I have stations using their CD players (951/961) and I've been able to get them repaired by them without issue. Actually, it's easier for me and the turnaround wasn't all that bad.

I have a faulty DN-990R sitting here. I'm looking for some parts for my DN-1100R machine - have you got any? Maybe we could swap.
If not, I could possibly be persuaded to part out this machine, I don't actually know what's wrong with it other than when I last powered it up, I don't think it was reading disks.

I suppose you are now going to tell me that you have some SL-P1300 parts?

Studio1 - I have a DN-1050R in excellent shape. Do you know the difference between it and your DN-1100R?? Could that be a help to you??

Thanks for the offer RememberWHEN.

I've scoured the net looking for a photo of the DN-1050R but all I could find was a very small thumbnail of one and it looks
radically different to the DN-1100R.

Given the number of 1100R's sold, I find it hard to believe that there aren't more of them sitting around broken or robbed for parts.

What I need is the eject button and switch, and a mains transformer that has one 230V primary winding or dual 120V primaries.
My one came from the US, so it was 120V only.
This, unfortunately, was one model that Denon didn't see the point in using a multi-tapped transformer :(

The main difference between the DN1050R and the DN1100R is that the DN1100R is based upon a consumer grade machine. The DN1050R is more or less the 19" version of the DN990R/DN995R. They both use the same laserunit (KSM-140C) where the DN1100R uses a less professional laserunit often found in consumer grade md-players.

Sorry Studio1, I can not help you with parts for your DN110oR, I do have some DN650 cd players for trade ;-)

Ah ok, so my DN-1100R should really be sent to MD heaven then.

I already have 2 x DN-961FA CD players so I am set in that respect.

My DN-1100R works Ok, just needs a couple of parts. Someone has fitted an after-market switch for the EJECT function, and I've pulled the 120V transformer out to have it rewound to 230V but the guy hasn't done it yet. Shame that Denon didn't see fit to using a multi-winding primary on their transformers in this unit.

If anyone wants to do a deal, I will swap a DN-990R plus the DN-1100R for a decent rack mount MD recorder.

Studio1 - check your mail. Also, I am interested in two DN-961FA players. They must be mint physically and with minimum hours and a manual. Anybody out there have any??
