Nobody actually knows. One rumor is that 107.1 will be called "The End" which leads to being a Alternative or Rock based format. Nothing is for sure yet and DRC is being very careful not to leak any info on what the new formats may actually be. We won't know until launch time. Whenever that comes.

Whatever they decide, maybe it'll bring some excitement to Denver radio ... maybe even to this Board. Someone needs to shake us out of our lethargy. I wish them lots of success.

Hehe. Actually, it will be called "almost the end" since there's
signals on 107.5 and 107.9....

THE END? Tell me why is that such a popular name for a station? There is one on the west cost and in Salt Lake City. What is up with that name that makes it so actractive to name a station?

As i recall 101.5 played Classic Rock before when they were testing.
btw has anyone used an item called Radio Shark that allows people to listen to radio on their PC? If so has anyone found an antanna that works with it?<P ID="signature">______________

Uhhh...it's because their frequencies are at the end of the dial. Why is that so hard to comprehend?

Won't happen anytime soon now that we know the formats of both stations.

Just to chime in, knowing the formats already launched.

Just FYI that the CHR in Sacramento is actually called The End!

The End.
