Denver's Next TV Station Move??

Hi everyone:

In an effort to counter the radio version of this thread, I thought I'd create a TV version to discuss the next Denver TV station move.

The only thing I can think of is KDVR 31 moving Jeremy Hubbard into the primary anchor position (Heck, don't see why not. He's been doing it almost seven nights a week for the last several months anyway), thus freeing up Ron Zappolo for his "Zappolo's People" segment, which could be run every night.

Any other thoughts?

Cheers :D

Don't think thats gonna happen. Hubbard is leaving Fox at the end of April to take over a job at the ABC News Bueru in Chicago. His wife KUSA's Tonia Hottman is also leaving this month. As for Zappolo he's starting a new show called Colorado 2031 which will focus on Colorado issues. The show premeires next Saturday at 5:30

Really? It'll be interesting to see who replaces him as they've got some big shoes to fill

Yeah, but where could she end up getting a job in Chicago? Gannett doesn't own any properties there

Cool. They're gonna need that show for the 2008 Presidential Campaign season next year.

Cheers :D

P.S. Just wondering if there's any chance at all of there possibly having a COLORADO TV board in the Television States section that would cover the entire state since there's not enough traffic for a Denver board. This would avoid us having to use the either of the radio instead. Again just curious. :D

As a former KCNC employee I'd be interested in seeing a Colorado or Denver TV board as well to discuss the on-goings of well, our centiennal's state TV affairs... :)
