From reliable sources:

I hear that WNCI/WCGX sales manager Dave Daugherty was just fired. Apparently the sales team has had trouble selling PPM's lower AQH ratings (not shares) for premium rates, and WNCI's revenues took a sharp hit.

Also, the Blitz's Mo & Blazer have been suspended for three days following an oddly-protracted on-air argument they had with PD Hal Fish around 9am yesterday.
 
You heard right. I first met Dave at WCOL in the old Great Trails days back in the mid 70s. Great guy. Did one hell of a job for CC for years and years. To show its thanks CC had him ESCORTED from the building. You're a class act CC. A real class act.
 
What was the need to have Dave Daugherty ESCORTED out of the CC Columbus building? That makes no sense at all. ???

The only people I've heard of being ESCORTED out from the CC Columbus building were the people who protested CC's
dropping it's Progressive Talk on 1230 radio a few years back. They had the Columbus Police Dept. ask them to leave. Here are some photos of that:

This sounds like Radio Sales can be a very cut throat occupation to be in. :eek:
