DePetro back on the radio - guess where?

Was traveling through the Big Apple and heard DePetro (of all people) on the radio today - sitting in for John Gambling on WABC of all places. I guess he is subbing all this week from 9 to 12.

He was not much different there than he was in Boston - and I soon found myself headed for the seek button...

Yup and if you've kept an eye on the Prov. board you'll know he's prob headed for WHJJ
Him going back to Providence doesn't surprise me - but hearing him on the "most listened to talk radio station in the nation" sure did. He still sounded small market and out of place down there!!

Ok, on second thought he sounds a little rusty (for him). Not bad, just not 100%.

He's probably playing it safe for obvious reasons.

It's been a couple months now since WRKO fired him but it looks like we'll have to wait till after the New Yr to find out who gets the 9-noon slot there. Today's fill in is Jack Riccardi, who came from these parts and had been
on WTBU/BU and WNTN/Newton (also WVBF) and these days is on KTSA San Antonio. From what I can gather he's kinda like me; conservative on most issues, "refuses to belong to any party"
