DEPETRO LANDS A WEEKENDER IN DC

It's in allaccess. 4-7 starting today at Citadel's WMAL in Washington. APD there is Bill Hess who he worked with at WHJJ.

Will be interesting to see how a guy so focused on Rhode Island does outside this market. I may even tape this one.

Kudos, X-bro!

Could this be a radio one-and-only?
How many hosts work at TWO same-dial-position stations?

That's even cooler than when Tiffany Hill went from one B101 (Providence) to another (Philly), and THAT was cool.

I went from working at B101 (Providence) to working a few blocks away from the other B101 (Philly). :) I used to be able to see them from the studio here until they moved to City Ave.

I'm kind of mad at myself for napping out and totally forgetting about Depetro until just now (Almost 930 PM.) I should have set the timer to record it. All my fancy shmancy recording equipment does me no good when I fall sleep before setting it up. Oh well. Did anybody here listen to him? Curious to know how he did.

da did that during the summer for wfan he was on vaca in Boston and did a Sunday night weekend show in new york!!!!

It's kind of a pain in the ass to travel to DC for one show. I'm thinking that he is trying to springboard into a larger market. It's really the only thing that makes sense.

NERW reports that he's doing the DC show from WPRO's studio.

Ok well that puts a whole different paint job on things. I was thinking that this was a whole seperate deal not associated with WPRO at all. But now I see that this is a joint effort. WPRO must be making money off this somehow. Otherwise I see no reason for them to do it.
