I didnt mean to go after Fallriveractive, I just know hes wrong.
Johnny D.makes a huge amount of money at WRKO. More money in one year ,than hed get in 4 years at WHJJ. He loves RI, but a guy like John moves up, not down.
Hes NOT comming back to RI.

Alan, much of the Rhode Island speculation concerning DePetro has
to do with the anticipated on-air shake-up at WRKO.
I agree with you that DePetro will not walk away from his gig in Boston.
However, if WRKO wants to go in another direction and they buy out the
remainder of his contract then he'd no doubt be looking to return to RI.
I think that's where this speculation is coming from, WRKO is under new
management and the shake-up (changes in their morning drive show) has
already begun.
