While the tributes have been flowing in regarding the last episode of Desperate Housewives, personally I think this show should have ended years ago.
Apparently I am not the only one who thinks so. When the series first started it had over 30 million viewers. The latest ratings recorded a viewing audience 8 million. That's quite a loss of viewers wouldn't you say?
Once the nostalgia-fever ends, I am sure that Desperate Housewives fans will get to see their favorite show over and over again once a cable network purchases the rights to air the show. Either that or ABC will entice the ladies of Wisteria Lane to appear in a movie made for TV to update everyone on what has happened to their lives.
