What do the people in the radio community listen to?
First, let's recognize that the people who read this board probably do NOT represent the Seattle market as a whole. Probably most of us spend an above-average amount of time clicking around, checking out what different stations are doing. I think a lot of listeners tend to have one or two stations that they spend all (or most) of their listening time with. But even we channel-surfers have our "fav's."
So, the question is, what are YOUR destination spots on the radio dial during the week? What shows/features do you try to catch every day/week? And I want to limit this to TODAY's Seattle Radio, so please save your "I used to never miss a minute of..." comments for a different post.
Also, I am really interested in getting the radio-info regulars' picks. Save the comments about how much you hate other people's shows/features for some other post.
HERE ARE MINE:
Every morning between 5-6:00 I catch Rachel Maddow's show on Air America Mornings- KPTK.
Every afternoon I listen to Al Franken for an hour or so on my way home (about 4:30-5:30).
Every Saturday I try to make sure I hear Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion" on KUOW.
I still like The Mountain for my music, but tune in & out. There are no features there any more that I would call "destination radio" for me that I never miss.
