A friend who works on the crew over at Y&R sent me this to put on our PB board.
Personally, I think it's sour grapes. What's the consensus in here?

The Destruction Of The Daytime Emmys: Snubbing Rowell

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Daytime Emmys (DE) destroyed themselves by repeatedly not recognizing talent & hard work & by basing their criteria on buzz, ratings & the ao-called fairness/spreadig of the wealth mentality. Those who deserved nominations and awards rarely get attention. 2 nods per show in the acting categories?

The pre-nomination process is a farce. Jeanne Cooper is one of my fav actresses, but she didn't deserve a Lead Actress pre-nom in 2007! That slot belonged to the beautiful, hard working & talented Victoria Rowell. Lynn Marie Latham, Scott Hamner, Kola Boof & Rowell herself worked very hard in ensuring a nod & win for Rowell. And guess what? They did, they had it all wrapped up, but because of ignorance, apathy & jealousy, Rowell was ignored in the Best Lead Actress race.
