Deters Called his old bosses on the Air!!

I'm sorry I missed this but I bet it was Hilarious.

http://cincinnati.com/blogs/tv/2011/09/21/eddie-fingers-on-eric-deters-thursday/

Was anyone listening to Deters about 8:35 a.m. today? Deters says he called his former Clear Channel bosses – Chuck Fredrick and Darryl Parks — live on the air and said that he and sidekick Sensible Don wanted to apply for the morning show opening on WEBN-FM, to replace the Dawn Patrol. Each took the call — and then hung up on him, Deters says.

Wow!! So cutting edge! So daring!! So 1980s. Nobody heard it and nobody cares. Deters cumes fewer people in his show than WLW does in one minute. Please go away.

If anyone has a mp3 file of that segment pm me. I like the fact he is giving the Boring One a taste of their own medicine.

Elephant, you bring so much to the discussion. Thanks.

The phone bit may have been done before but just as some songs are worth repeating or remaking, so are some bits. Calling a boss who has done something most think is incredibly callous, stupid or counter-productive and rubbing their nose in it is precisely what should be done. Done right, it's funny. It sounds like this one was done right.

The size of the audence that hears it doesn't define the quality of the bit.

+1

I didn't hear the calls/bit, but Deters better be careful, if he aired a single "hello" from either of them, without getting their consent to play it on-air, he is subject to an FCC fine...
