SCOOP: Detroit Pistons games moving to Scripps-owned WMYD

The Detroit Pistons will move their locally televised games to free broadcast television under a new rights agreement with Scripps Sports that begins with the 2026-27 NBA season.

Note this is for local televised games of the Pistons on WMYD Detroit. Pistons games are moving from Fanduel Sports to WMYD for the 2026-2027 season.
 
From Cable to Over-the-Air TV? We are going through the same thing in Cleveland. No answers yet and now I wonder?

I digress as there's a big game seven tonight and I don't want to make waves. I'm as big a Detroit/Michigan fan as Cleveland fan. From the days the Red Wings were on WJR. I began to bleed "Red Wing red" and it morphed from there.

It's really interesting the day of the Michigan/OSU game. Long live Frank Beckmann calling those games on the radio.

I can't pull up the article but is it resolved where the road games will air?
 
I believe the Pistons will air WXMI FOX DT2 since Scripps owns FOX17 in West Michigan even know their no mention of West Michigan which will be said once they say where the Pistons will be airing across Michigan in the fall.
