Detroit question circa 1977

I remember visiting Detroit for a convention in late 1977 and whoever the CBS station was in those days had a weathergirl with a ridiculously long name, something like Jo Jo Dancer McKelly or something like that. I remember she said she was going to be on a "Barnaby Jones" episode in a cameo role in the near future. This has been in the far corner of my mind since then. Any information on this person?

I think you're refering to Jo Jo Shutty Macgregor who was the traffic reporter on CKLW the BIG 8 back in the mid 70's. She is also the widow of former CKLW radio news director Byron Macgregor.
