Detroit ratings May 2012

Just had my first look at the ratings for May 2012, and while the top three stations(WYCD, The Ticket, and WWJ) didn't really change positions, there were some things that caught my eye. First, props to 89x heading towards a 4.0 share(3.9 in May). I love listening to this station at times during the day and night. Glad to see the success. 106.7 The D got back to over a 3.0 share(3.2) and their cumulative audience has remained pretty strong. 105.1 has really turned it on as of late, and maybe WNIC could have pulled off AC if they played a wide variety of music perhaps, which is what 105.1 is doing now. Not really sure what to make of Praise 102.7. They are doing better ratings wise that Hip-Hop did there, and I am led to assume the signal is just as bad. is it promotion of the format or the format? AMP(occasional punching bags of mine) had a nice comeback to 3.5 after a few months of 2.8. But what really jumped out to me is how quickly Hot 107.5 has made it interesting in the urban battle. Earlier this year, 'JLB was comfortably in front. but now, it's WJLB 4.2 cume of 724,000, and Hot 107.5 4.0 cume of 655,700. So, those are a few things that I saw in the ratings. Did you see something different? All responses are appreciated. Enjoy the weather.

The Detroit ratings on release day usually come out around 5pm, with cities like New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles coming out earlier. So maybe you missed them, or they just came out a little later than normal.
