Devilish Cluster Owners, Pt. 2

All clusters described in this series are purely fictional and any similarity to an actual cluster is totally accidental, coincidental, and just plain wierd.

You have $500,000 worth of investment capital, and are able to buy two FMs and one AM in a small market in Louisiana for $300,000. (Look out! This is going to get ugly.)

You have an AM/FM combo that simulcasts country and an FM that plays oldies. You are located in a town of 30,000 approximately 45 miles from Houston, but none of your signals get there.

Your cross town competition has a Country FM and a Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity News-Talk AM. Their FM is live/local 6 am to 7 pm. They are a heritage combo that is well liked in the community.

Your cluster has old autogram boards, some missing a cue channel, some are having problems with their amps. Your oldies station goes off the air every time it rains... and the stations are running satellite automation all day except for morning drive. You have one morning man per station. Your automation is Arrakis Digilink 2.0, and is showing its age. The three stations combine for $100,000 worth of revenue annually. You have $200,000 in remaining revenue, but the stations are losing $2,000 per month. What do you do?

I would have an accidental fire that burns down the whole operation and wait for the insurance check. ;)
