Anyone invested in an HD radio recently? How is the technology? Can you keep an uninterrupted signal, or does it flip on and off from analog to digital... over and over and over again?

How about inside buildings? Isn't HD supposed to penetrate offices? How's THAT working out?

Yeah, it sounds great, the only station that sounds like crap in HD is KSOC, and that's only cause they're using the same processor to feed both analog and HD so we hear all the extra high end.

I hear it in parking garage sub levels, after you get too far in you do lose it and it cuts back to the analog (this is more prevalent with AM HD. 1160 sounds good in HD, as does radio Disney. But KRLD sounds like a wet bag of crap...in slow motion.<P ID="signature">______________

Do not buy the Boston Acoustics, you'll be tempted by the low price, but everything I've read says you will be greatly disappointed with this radio.

I just got one, with a date stamp of less than a month ago on it. It is terrific, and from inside a large steel frame office building can get every HD and HD-2 signal in the market, including AM.

Yes. Excellent. I have a number of the mono non-HD receptors, and this one is much superior. I am about 2 miles from two high power FMs, and in a noisy environment and it works very well. About 5 people ordered one this week after hearing it.
