DFW HD Radio question

I don't have (nor to I plan to invest in) an HD Radio but I was looking at a list of DFW stations and I am confused by something. For example, in Houston, KHJZ HD-1 is Smooth Jazz and KHJZ HD-2 is Trditional Jazz. However, in DFW KMVK (MOViN') is HD-1 and KMVK HD-2 is listed as Traditional Jazz but it is playing the Online Oasis (Smooth Jazz). Up the dial at 100.3 KJKK HD-1 is Jack and KJKK HD-2 is also Jack. If anyone has an HD radio can you tell me what the difference is in Jack 1 & 2 and what is the need for two? ???

I haven't checked these stations out...but LOTS of times, they stream the HD stations off their websites. YOu can probably check at least SOME out thattaway

Jack HD-2 says "My HD" and is playing rock, but different than HD-1. Haven't listened to it enough to give more details.

Much to my dissapointment 107.5 HD-2 is not what I consider "traditional jazz" as listed on the HD radio site, but mostly new age (smooth) jazz, with an occasional traditional jazz cut thrown in. Good old analog KNTU 88.1 is still the only source for mostly traditional jazz.
