Just curious…what’s on your presets?!

I don’t really do presets in the house, but in the car, I can do 40 and they can be a mix of AM, FM and Sirius XM. I like to group my terrestrial radio presets together and then Sirius XM. I tried to mix them at one point, but that didn’t work for me. As you’ll see, I also try to group by genre.
  1. Alt 103.7
  2. 88.1 indie
  3. 97.1 The Eagle HD2
  4. 91.7 KXT
  5. Lone Star 92.5
  6. 100.3 Jack FM
  7. 98.7 the spot
  8. Star 102.1
  9. MiX 102.9
  10. 106.1 Kiss FM
  11. 97.9 The Beat
  12. K104 (only preset not in HD)
  13. Channel Q (103.7 HD2)
  14. Pride Radio (106.1 HD2)
  15. New Country 96.3
  16. 99.5 The Wolf
  17. WRR 101
  18. News Radio 1080 KRLD (actually 1080)
  19. 107.9 Latino Mix
  20. Magic (102.1 HD2)
  21. Alt Nation
  22. Alt 2K
  23. Faction Punk
  24. Liquid Metal
  25. Turbo
  26. Octane
  27. Lithium
  28. Hits 1
  29. Pulse
  30. BPM
  31. 10s Spot
  32. 90s on 9
  33. Hip Hop Nation
  34. Shade 45
  35. Fly
  36. Flex 2K
  37. Raw Comedy
  38. Faction Talk
  39. MSNBC
  40. Progress

1. 91.7 KXT
2. 88.7 KTCU
3. 88.1 “Indie”
4. 89.3 KNON
5. 90.1 KERA
6. 88.5 KEOM

Non commercial radio forever! That said, about 80% of my radio listening is KXT and KTCU. Also, half of my total listening in car is Spotify.

1. 88.1 Indie
2. 88.1 The One
3. 91.7 KXT
4. Lone Star 92.5
5. 95.9 The Ranch
6. 98.7 The Spot
7. 100.3 Jack
8. Star 102.1
9. Mix 102.9
10. Alt 103.7

Forgot to mention that since I can't edit my post, yes, these are the station presets for my car radio. But bare in mind, these days, I hardly listen to the radio but instead most of my listening in the car is either on Spotify or Youtube Music.

No one has a preset set for The Freak???
The bigger revelation is that only one person so far has a preset for The Ticket. A few KXT presets are always wonderful to see, and a few 88.1 Indie presets are also there too. Both are near the bottom of the ratings, so we radio and music nerds just do not represent the general population.

We have a great taste in music apparently

  1. 93.1 KMKT
  2. 97.5 K-LAKE
  3. 101.3 KJIM
  4. 102.1 KDGE
  5. 102.5 KMAD
  6. 102.9 KDMX
  7. 107.3 KQDR
  8. 88.1 KNTU
  9. 91.9 KSSU
  10. 92.1 KXEZ
  11. 92.5 KZPS
  12. 96.1 KZRC
  13. 99.3 KERA
  14. 99.7 KBBC

I like to keep my presets in sequence around the dial. Since KEGL’s flip to the Freak, it’s been a little out of order. I mix in some stations receivable on the fringes of DFW and in East Texas as well.

1st Bank
1. 88.7 KTCU
2. 91.7 KKXT
3. 88.1 KNTU—formerly 97.1 KEGL
4. 100.3 KJKK
5. 102.5 KBRQ/KMAD—in case I’m in range—formerly 102.1 KDGE

2nd Bank
6. 92.5 KZPS
7. 95.9 KFWR
8. 98.1 KTAL-FM—formerly 98.9 KTUX
9. 103.7 KVIL—holdover from hot AC days. It should be promoted to first bank, but two clicks isn’t that difficult. And I’m too lazy to change it. Lol.
10. 106.5 KOOI

105.3 for Rangers games, otherwise nothing else.

I'm a geek and don't do my presets the way a lot of people do. I either group them by format or do them by dial position.
Right now I have 96.7 The Ticket as 1, 97.1 on 2, 105.3 on 3, then 90.1 on 4, 88.5 on 5, and 98.7 on 6.
Next group has 100.3 on 1, 102.1 on 2, 102.9 on 3, 103.7 on 4, 106.1 on 5, and 87.9 on 6 (for when I want to hear the pirate when I'm in McKinney) My AM is set up with 1080 on 1, 1400 on 2, 1230 on 3. 1310 on 4, 1500 on 5, and 1650 on 6 (so I can hear Oldiesradio.us in Dallas)

Right now I have 97.1 on 2...
My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to your second preset button. Forced in to the uneviable service of instantly dialing up some really bad radio.

That 1400 preset you have set there, tested. Was that for EZ Rock or a brand new one set for the ESPN line-up?

Add to that, I didn't realize ol' LibertyNT was still plugging away with his little high end AM signal. Figured iHeart might take issue with that going on two spots up the dial once they acquired KKGM from Mortensen.

Good to see 88.1 on here in so many posts--I'm enjoying the new format.

FM:
1. 90.1
2. 88.1
3. 91.7
4. 101.1

AM: I have a number of stations set, but aside from occasionally listening to 970, I just keep it on 1080. Though sometimes, I'll accidentally tap the button for 820, which is mostly the "various interference noises" station....

WTF??? It's useless comments like these that this forum does nor need.
