For the past few years I have given a look at the 6+ numbers for Dallas/Fort Worth. Everything always seemed pretty stable. The usual stations shared the top and there was not much that stood out. Certainly the retooling of The Wolf was the right move but will it remain to show this initial strength?
How many years did KISS FM lead the pack? Now it is declining to the #4 slot. Overall there is nothing very alarming in the past few months but I recall KLTY had much stronger numbers in the past year or so. It seems a time of transition in the market where the usual players move by small increments to share slightly better or slightly work overall numbers. I suspect it may be several months before things settle back in.
I suppose my takeaway is how KISS and KLTY, who once hovered at the top, now fall off to the middle.
