Is it just me or have the programmers at Clear Channel been playing musical chairs with their rock formats. 102.1 has turned into last years Eagle, The Eagle is sounding like last years 92.5, and 92.5 is starting to remind me of KLUV? Anyone else notice this, or do I need to stop doing drugs?
 
A friend of mine has commented several times that The Edge sounds like The Eagle used to.

Well the Eagle started sounding like KDGE long before they went away the first time. There is only so much "alternative" to go around. Tons of artists are played on both active and alt (NIN, Tool, Beasties, Jane's Addiction). Lately to me though it seems as though KDGE has gotten away from most of the knuckledragging rock (no Saliva etc that they played 3 or 4 years ago). I heard Arcade Fire on Edge the other day. That sounds nothing like the Eagle past or present
