DFW Storms Part......5??

Heres my take...when it comes to severe weather, the stations in this market are full of rank amateurs. Noone here has any real "chase" experience or severe weather training, save Finfrock and "Dont Call Me Beckly" Miller. Ive been watching alot of outside market coverage(OKC)recently and these folks know the game and handle up on their business. Big props go to KFOR & KWTV for their recent coverage.

As a side note, KFOR has been webstreaming the 1st 10 mins of their newscasts for a good while, why cant anyone in this market get on that train and put that product out there for us folks who cant make it home for the 6 or 10??

Also, I've been watching the streaming coverage of the Kansas storms on KSN and KWCH. Both stations did outstanding jobs, KWCH was live with non-stop storm coverage for over 24 hours last weekend. The DFW stations could learn something from both the Wichita and OKC markets.

Slambang is correct, if you haven't chased you can't forecast storms in N. TX. Most good meteorologist I know, are also good storm chasers.
