DHT's "I Go Crazy" on Z100

"I Go Crazy" goes into rotation at Z100 (NYC) this week. :)

And the beat goes on...

It's a sad day for dance fans when we get excited about 1 dance track getting put on rotation on one of New York's top radio stations when actually there should be several.

Well there could be no new dance music on Z and that would suck so I'm excited to see them stepping up to the plate to play something new on the NYC airwaves. No use crying over KTU at this point. It's not coming back to the way it was.

PS - I'd be excited even if it wasn't my record.

John's right.

Until we start doing something, Z-100 will be the only "dance" source in New York. And since artists such as DHT and Cascada are established (thanks to John and the gang at Robbins), that's probably the ONLY way dance music will ever BE heard on a Z-100, someone that is WELL known (people DO remember "Listen To Your Heart")

And Z-100 is nothing near a Z-103.5 in Toronto, nor a K-104 in Poughkeepsie, the latter two being dance friendly CHR's.

To be honest I'm not as impressed with this song as I was with their previous hit. Maybe it'll grow on me.

Thats why we need a true dance station in NY. Not a top 40 that plays one dance song a day.

I saw them in a bar show like a year or more ago, I think they performed it then and I didn't like it then, I heard it mixed last week on KTU and was mixed reviewed, then heard it on Z and was like yeah no, I still don't like it.

The first time I heard the tune, I did go crazy! It's a tremendous cover tune. Too bad nobody played Someone, that was pretty good as well.

Now if Q102 ever gets a hold of that tune, I really will go crazy! And btw; what's next for Cascada? A Neverending Dream or How Do You Do?
