Dial Global DJ's

Those stations using Dial Global DJ's for their Country Classic station I would be interested in what you think of the service?
Any jocks do you think are stronger than others?

I think this is the correct format.

I was able to listen to the same DJs on three different stations on the way to the mountains.

One was female and said she wanted to look like Lynn Anderson when she was a little girl and said something about Barbie.

On my way home one day I heard John St. John.

That's on the station which has the same music and DJs as the next station on the way to the mountains, which has the same music and DJs as the next station. At some point, I can't pick up any classic country for several miles, at least none that I know of.

I was disappointed in just the short time I listened to hear "Stranger in My House", which was unusual for the time but not all that different from the junk being played today, and "You're No Good" by Linda Ronstadt, which isn't even country. And before anyone talks about crossover music being the rule in those days, this song was bad.

KIIC "Thunder Country" in nearby Albia, Iowa uses the classic forma and although I prefer live and local, then local and tracked, with plugging into the bird last on my list it is acceptable. The good thin about KIIC is that what they saved on paying jocks is going into local news and sports coverage. Other locals using various Dial formats have abysmal service to the community so I never tune them in.

Two Dial Global classic country stations where I live seem to do a good job of community service. The one I listen to more often has a local morning show with classic country and the guy frustrates me every single time because while all the other stations I could listen to have news, he has his interview with one of the city officials.

I listen to Dial Global standards the most and that station has a local morning show with local news and sometimes interviews with important people. And way too much local sports.
