I know there have been a few posts regarding the whereabouts of former KPHO midday and early evening anchor Diana Sullivan. Well she is now a real estate agent. Here is her bio and link. I realize the news business is very volatile but such a shame they either dropped her or she left, I don't know which one is true but she was a great anchor and I thought she was good on Sonoran Living Live, but apparently ABC 15 execs thought differently.

I think there are a number of media personalities that also have their hand in the Phoenix real estate market. I thought I have heard or seen Katie Raml talk about properties on Facebook and Melissa Sharpe of 95.5 KYOT is a licensed realtor.

Seriously, for a top 20 market, it's a shame that there's not a place for someone as talented as Diana. For example, ABC15 could use a solid weekend anchor. 12 News needs a solid second string, basically a replacement for Faye in the evenings (sorry, Tram just doesn't do it for me). But, sadly, everyone is trying to get by on the cheap.
 
Jay Lawrence, Preston Westmoreland, Bill Heywood, Dianne Brennan and Anne Lanker are all real estate agents, as well...though Diane's the only one of the group to jump in after the bubble burst.

At the risk of going OT here, it's probably not a bad time to get in. If the market hasn't found bottom yet, I'm sure it's close, so she'll get to ride it up with a more sane approach in the market.

All kidding aside, I wish her well. I agree with formeraa: hard to believe there isn't a place for her in TV locally. But it might just be her choice.
