Diane Had a

Well well well lets go to the replay official and see who did better in the fall book at KAGM was it Larry no, was it Chirs and Phil no, It was Diane Anderson!

The only show to gain listeners was Diane, Larry and the two toilet boys in afternoons lost listeners!

Once again the proof is in the pudding the preception that Larry is the Man is not the reality.

Even if Dianne did have better numbers than Larry or The Drive you've got to remember that in the newspaper it said "Logan said the decision to pull the show also had nothing to do with ratings or listenership."

Logan has some kind of masterplan. Obviously there were more pressing concerns that he had with Dianne's show that went far beyond ratings or listenership.

Logan is sort of like Harvey Keitel's character in Pulp Fiction - summoned to clean up the mess.

Perhaps Logan's next move will be to hose down Chris and Phil and make them wear frat boy clothes. It worked in Pulp Fiction and it would make some for some great radio too.

BS! Say what?

I think if Dianne resigned the daypart, there would be no
trouble in announcing that fact. To say "nothing to do with ratings
or listenership" is crap. Ratings and listenership are one in
the same - you can't have one without the other.

IMHO, the show ended because: a) it had everything to do with
ratings and listenership; and b) as a result, revenue sucked; and
c) we can no longer afford these losses.

No?

Of course. When Logan first floated the "nothing to do with listenership or ratings" balloon in the Tribune I wrote "Perhaps Logan also has a bridge in Brooklyn that he wishes to sell to the Tribune writer."

The notion that Dianne did better in the fall book than Larry or The Drive is moot if the station as a whole had ratings that one could get with a station that featured nothing but dead air.

Kudos to Logan for cutting some heads and weaving a magical tale about it not having anything to do with ratings or listenership. While anyone here didn't fall for it the Tirbune certianly didn't question his outrageous statement.

If he could pull that off I bet the fixer can do a lot more.
