Dick Bartley on Iowa radio stations....To be continued?

Currently, Rock 'n' Roll's Greatest Hits airs live on KUUL in the Quad Cities, and according to a caller from Waterloo that I heard on last Saturday night's show, it airs in the Waterloo on a KWLO. What other stations in and/or serving Iowa air this and/or American Gold? Basically, what I'm asking is, what will happen if Mr. Bartley can't find a new distributor? Will Tom Kent's shows air instead on these stations? Will they convert to the Kent/ABC agreement even if Dick does find a new distributor by the end of March?

KIOA airs both Rock and Roll's Greatest Hits and American Gold. My question, as one who has listened to his programs for nearly 20 years, would be why worry about him? He shows up, or he doesn't. He does, however, have a website at www.dickbartley.com.

Beginning April 1, 2009 Dick will be syndicated through United Stations. I am very pleased and happy for him, and I hope that your stations will continue to carry his programming as well. Like I said, as one who has listened to his programs for 20 years, why worry about him?

I think all who have been listeners to him care what happens, and it happened all good for him.

KCII in Washington carried American Gold. Unfortunately, it was replaced by FLASHBACK! with Bill St. James.

KCII's loss. I know of a station that has been "splicing" and editing copyright material from Rock & Roll's Greatest Hits to attempt to make it appear that certain artists are actually promoting their station, when in fact the artists were on with Dick Bartley. Strange how a station changes its programming but has some who continue to use the copyright, intellectual property of others... and we ain't talkin' Fair Use. Not very good voiceover and dubbing work either.

It is not an Iowa station on which such a practice occurred.
