With the big switches taking place of oldies staions these days....how many percentage wise is carrying the big Saturday night show these days. We lost Dick completely in the Bay Area, and if this is continuing in other large markets......he must be crawling under a rock. (I don't mean music).

I guess we're lucky in Portland, Oregon. We lost FM Oldies for "Charlie" but Kisn was moved to 5000 watt 910 AM.

Lucky you. 102.3 WSUS use to carry the show, but not anymore. I really enjoy American Gold. The live Saturday night show is on local Oldies 1360 WNNJ, but I can't get the station at night. Plus, I prefer American Gold.

KOOL-FM Phoenix dropped Bartley in June,
replacing him with a local (live DJ at
first, now voicetracked) disco show.
They don't call it "disco" but it leans
heavily that way--mostly 70s dance music.

IIRC, WRIT-FM Milwaukee dropped Bartley
at about the same time.

WJMK Chicago went local earlier in 2005
(some months before they were hiJACKed).

Last time I checked their stream a few weeks
ago, he was still on WMXJ Pompano Beach.

That is too bad if a Chicago station is not playing his show. He became popular as a personality on WFYR. A Chicago oldies station in the early eighties. He used to do his show on Saturday night from WFYR and had it sent to the others on satellite. It was the same show he did five other nights on WFYR at the same time slot.
