Dick Button, Skater, At 95

Dick Button was not only a good technician who could explain the technical aspects of figure skating. But he could also comment on artistic impression, which is now referred to as "program components". I watched every skating competition I could, because I loved the sport ( and it is a demanding sport), and Dick Button did analysis on most of them. He worked with anchors like Jim McKay, Chris Schenkel and Tom Hammond at ABC. He won an Emmy in 1981 for his skating coverage. - Daryl
