[glow=red,2,300]Just read on Tom Taylor's daily e/m that Dick Ferguson has been in the hospital with prostate cancer and other health issues. "Mr. K95FM" of all time...former Prez of Katz and New City. Had a truly peer relationship with all of us. He's at Norwalk Hospital in Westport, CT and hopes to go home this week.

Someone may remember my wearing a bear suit at a promotion he once attended...and taking the opportunity to abuse his leg. Guess I was a lot younger in 1984!![/glow]
 
Dick was an awesome guy to work for---- actually--- I never felt I was working "for him", it was more of a "with him". I remember he called me at home on a Sunday afternoon after a bad incident at KRMG. Knowing I was beating myself-up about it, he told me to quit moping and take Carol out to dinner on the station. His response to the problem: "that is why we have insurance".
