Dick Sainte

I just received a report of the passing of former Chicago deejay great Dick Sainte.

He had a long illness and was 67.

He was a jock at KRLA, KHJ, KIIS, KGB, KFRC, WLS, WCFL, KEX and KFMS.

Condolences to his family.

For those who wonder what he looked like, he was one of many jocks featured on the Radio and Records 15th anniversary video aircheck, then partnered with Doug Dulgren (sp?) at, I believe, WCFL.

I didn't know the guy well but after Dick and Doug had gotten blown out of WCFL, they both did fill in at WJJD Chicago where I worked.

Remember one night about that time at Doug's apartment getting loaded with the two and talking about how crazy radio is and feeling I was in the presence of greatness.
