Dickey Broadcasting Buys 2 Translators

All Access reported that Dickey Broadcasting has purchased 2 FM translators from the Educational Media Foundation. They were previously located in Albany, GA and Frankfurt, KY, respectively. The blurb did not say what the frequencies will be but did mention they will be used to simulcast 1230 and 1340.

Are they the ones we discussed on this thread:

http://www.radiodiscussions.com/showthread.php?692849-Two-New-CPs-issued-for-two-more-Translators

That would make them on 103.7 (WIFN) and 106.3 (WFOM).

103.7: http://radio-locator.com/info/W256CE-FX

106.3: http://radio-locator.com/info/W286AZ-FX

The one at 103.7 (using the WIFN tower intown) has a couple of nulls east of I-75, except towards Decatur. I'm sure this is to protect cochannel WXKT Chuck FM out of Gainesville. It seems to have not much coverage north of the Top End and towards the eastern burbs as a result. If they are testing this station that would explain why reception of 103.7 Chuck FM along the Top End and ITP has gone to crap.

The one at 106.3 (using the WFOM tower in Marietta) nulls towards the southwest, probably to protect cochannel WQBZ out of Macon. It has good coverage of the Top End but not anywhere else.
