Dickey's golden opportunity

okay, with I-man on the way out, now is a good time to capitalize.

Dickey should flip 1340 back in simulcast with 1230 and hire a local host.

Has to be someone with chops, on the cheap. Someone who can run his own board, and take calls without a screener( Like Ike Newkirk).

I'm thinking David Paul.

Put DP in the 6-9 slot, flying solo. Have some help with sports and news segments from the folks down the hall.

Not too much $$$, but lots of free press!

whaddyathink? ;)

Programming should be left to the real pros like the suits at CC. ;D

Perhaps you're right. They would almost certainly have better sense than to suggest putting Ike Newkirk near a microphone on a regular basis.

According to the David Paul rumor thread he starts on WGST 5/1 working the 9-12 shift. Since I read it here I am pretty sure it is true.
