Not sure if it is a national spot, however, Dick's Sporting Goods is running an ad that features a panorama of a baseball field from position to position. Kind of neat as you hear the sounds and chatter that happen during a ballgame. However, there are a few technical goofs. The shortstop signals to the outfielders "no doubles" by waving his hand over his head meaning play deep and don't let a ball get over your head. The outfielders are shallow and appear to be just beyond the infield. Men on first and third. The 3rd baseman and shortstop signal to one another with their gloves over their mouths indicating who will cover. Problem is that the shortstop should be signaling to the 2nd baseman as there really is no play to be made at 3rd. Lastly, the pitcher has a single digit uniform number. Rarely, if ever does a pitcher get number 9.
