DID ANY LONG ISLAND STATION EVER BROADCAST IN QUAD?

For our old school posters....I can't remember any stations on LI in QUAD in the early 70s. Man I was too busy playing with my 8-TRACK PLAYER and listening to 77 WABC & 66 WNBC on my bike radio! And reading the RADIO SHACK & LAFAYETTE ELECTRONICS catalogs that came out each year.

I believe 99.1 WPLR in NEW HAVEN was in QUAD. I always loved the audio on WPLR. Play them Peter Frampton records!

I recall hearing that WHLI FM, now K-Joy 98.3 experimented with Quad. I don't have any definitive evidence or word on that though, and I might be mistaken, but I do believe I heard that though. I do know that WBAB FM was the first on Long Island to broadcast in FM Stereo.
