Saw an ad in the Radio Ink email for a man advertising his skills -- and clicked on the ad. Saw a bio of an interesting man, including a stint where he mentioned he launched a station for the Clear Lake area. I suspected that was the "STAR 101.5" incarnation ... and sent a note to ask him about that and his history.
Didn't get an answer...and read today he died in his sleep the evening I sent the note.
Hope the job search and the death were not related as I hate to see this business chew people up like that. Did anyone know Bob and did you know if he was involved with that station ... or was it perhaps the classical one that is licensed to Seabrook?
Thanks!....
