Did anyone read about WLEZ going to 101.1 from 103.7

There was a newspaper article on clarionledger.com on the 30th of October talking about WLEZ going from 103.7 to 101.1. The article stated that this was going to take place on November 8th. This is one of the stations I can't pick up in Forest due to the fact that this is a low power FM station. Have any of you in Jackson heard any more about this?

The move to 101.1 is nothing but an APPLICATION right now, although it will most likely be granted. Edward St. Pe can't move WLEZ-LP to 101.1 till he's approved for a Construction Permit.

WLEZ-LP is moving because WYAB-FM moved closer to Jackson and from 93.1 to 103.9.

I wanna know how they are saying they can move to the new channel on a specific date when the CP hasn't been granted yet?

There's a granted STA in the application list, but I dunno how to see what the STA is for... Maybe that's granting a (temporary) move?

You could be right..

The reason I didn't think of that is because the APPLICATIOn filed for 101.1 , if it was an STA would have a BSTA- file number and it doesn't.

Im wondering if the app to mvoe to 101.1 was filed before 103.9 moved in and they are now asking to use that APP under STA.

No, not to deep.. but I assumed you were taking a shot at WLEZ simply because it's a 100 Watt station and doesn't have a big signal.
