Since I heard that Dr. Laura Schlessinger is going to leave OTA radio, I've been listening a lot as I won't be following her to pay radio. Recently I heard a suspicious call that she took seriously, but I'm not so sure. A guy called to ask what he should do with this story: While at a business convention, two women tied him up to the hotel bed for a day or two and "had their way with him". Then he mentioned that he was their boss at the business. The explanation the women supposedly gave for this assault was ... "It was the only way for us to ever make-it with such a hot guy" (not the exact wording, but close). Then Dr. Schlessinger asked, what about the cleaning service. Wouldn't they come in? He said the women put the 'don't disturb' sign on the door. Then he said he thinks they drugged him because he would always wake up with a headache. She didn't ask, why didn't he scream out, or why didn't anybody from the convention notice his abscense and do something about it?
His questions were: 1. Should he tell his wife? He confided that he began to actually enjoy the assaults.
2. Should he go to the police? At first, the answer was yes, but since this happened a while ago, the Dr. suggested he talk
to a lawyer to ascertain options.
I shared this story with a friend, and we had a good laugh thinking that this may have been a fantasy-prank call possibly coming from an unattractive, obese 400 pound guy with nothing better to do. I wonder how many times people have called in with absolutely fake stories, just to see what her reaction would be.
